These terms are an agreement between you and the provider of the Mini Breaks app ("Mini Breaks", "we", "us"). They cover the app and this website. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Mini Breaks helps you stop one thing at a time. You name the thing and the situations it happens in, decide beforehand what you will do in each situation instead, answer two short questions a day, and the app suggests changes to the plan based on your answers.
Mini Breaks is a self-improvement tool. It is not a medical device, a treatment, a therapy or a programme, and it makes no health claim. It does not provide medical, psychological or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
If what you are stopping affects your health, or if stopping it may be unsafe to do without support, speak to a doctor or another qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country. Mini Breaks is not an emergency service and cannot help in an emergency.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Mini Breaks on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it in any way that breaks the law.
Mini Breaks requires an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. A free trial may be offered to new subscribers on the yearly plan.
Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are at Apple's discretion under the App Store Terms of Service. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.
What you write in the app — the thing you are stopping, the situations, what you do instead, your answers and your notes — is yours. It is stored on your device, and we claim no rights over it. The app has no export, so the copy on your device is the only one, and deleting it in Settings, or deleting the app, is permanent. See the privacy policy for what the app does and does not send.
We may add, change or remove features, and may discontinue the app. Some features depend on your device and on the permissions you grant. We do not promise the app will be available without interruption or free of defects.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant any particular outcome from using it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing limits any statutory consumer rights you have where you live.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple is not responsible for the app or any claim relating to it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Mini Breaks is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the provider of Mini Breaks is established, and any dispute will be brought in the courts of that country. This does not affect consumer protection rights, or the right to bring proceedings locally, that the law of your own country of residence gives you.
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
